Join the HLAA Mid-Hudson Chapter for a community panel on 911 and disaster preparedness for people with hearing loss and deafness.
Local emergency responders and community organizations will explain how to reach 911 by text, how to alert first responders that you’re deaf or hard of hearing, and how to build a plan for you and your family. Each speaker will present briefly, followed by a moderated Q&A, so bring your questions.
Details: Social time will be from 11 AM to 11:15 AM, and the meeting will start promptly at 11:20 AM.
FREE pizza and light refreshments available.
