Chapter Meetings
HLAA Mid-Hudson monthly Chapter Meetings provide a welcoming, accessible space for Hudson Valley locals with hearing loss, family members, and professionals to connect, share resources, and learn about the latest assistive technologies, advocacy efforts, and community services.
Meetings might feature guest speakers, demonstrations of hearing devices and captioning tools, updates on local and national policy initiatives, and time for peer support and Q&A. Held regularly throughout the year, each month (except during the summer months), these gatherings are broadcast on Zoom, captioned, and Hearing Looped, arranged to maximize communication access. Attendees can expect practical information, opportunities to get involved in advocacy, and a supportive network that helps navigate life with hearing loss.
